Each course has its own settings in the course builder.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enrollment Open | On by default. The course appears in the catalog and students can enroll themselves. Off means no new enrollments. |
| Require Approval (Pro) | Students request a seat, and an administrator approves or denies each request. Pro also lets you invite people who already have an account on your site. |
| Enable Certificate | Issues a certificate when a student completes the course, using the template you pick. |
| Require end-of-course survey | Students have to submit the course’s final survey before the course can be finished. |
| Custom layout | Hands this one course’s public page to your theme or page builder while the rest keep the plugin’s layout. Also under Course Info, then Page layout. |
| Co-instructors (Pro) | Assign more instructors who can manage this course. |
